Retail Design


Zara is an international fashion chain store originated from span. Understand their business is the key research for my Zara design concept.


As a fast speed of fashion design, manufacture and retailer, Zara launches about 10,000 designs each yr, claimed it’s needs just two weeks to develop a new product and get it to stores, and if the design doesn’t sell in one week it is withdrawn from shops, no design stays on the shop floor for 4 wks, which encourage Zara customer to make repeat visits. In spain customers visit high street store 3 times a yr, that goes up to 17 times for Zara, which means their fast speed fashion business strategy work every well for them.

Zara commitment to the environment from Store level including eco-efficient store, energy saving and waste management.

The key to it success among people, cultures and generations that, despite their differences, all share a special feeling for fashion.

As in my design for Zara, I want to achieve FLEXIBILITY, Minimum wastage, energy saving lighting, confutable, exciting and easy shopping experience, as well to worked effectively as part of their fast speed fashion business strategy.

There are three level of cloth display, each level is different from the other one, but they share a special feeling for fashion.
